Activities and Responsibilities
Consecration Sunday is a special time at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where we focus on the spiritual practice of giving. Through worship and reflection, members are encouraged to prayerfully consider their financial commitments and dedicate their gifts to God’s work.
Our “Time & Talent” Stewardship Events highlight the importance of offering our skills and time in service to the church and community. These events provide opportunities for members to discover and share their unique talents in various ministries and outreach programs.
We regularly publish educational articles to inform and inspire our congregation about the principles of stewardship. These articles cover topics such as financial giving, volunteerism, and environmental stewardship, encouraging members to live generously in all aspects of their lives.
The Care for Creation Emphasis focuses on our responsibility to protect and preserve God’s creation. Through initiatives like recycling programs, energy conservation, and educational campaigns, we encourage the congregation to adopt sustainable practices and care for the environment.
Our year-round stewardship programs and seminars provide ongoing education and support for members in their stewardship journey.
