Quilt Group
The Quilt Group unites those who are passionate about quilting and dedicated to offering warmth and comfort to those in need. We encourage all our “quilters” to let their love and creativity shine through in every thread!
The Quilters have an important place in the outreach ministry of St. Mark. Large quilts, baby quilts and lap quilts are distributed throughout the year.
There is much more than the task of sewing. It is also a time of fellowship and, of course, food. The team gathers at St. Mark from 10 am to 12 noon on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
Quilting is an integral part of St. Mark outreach ministry and a time of fellowship for those involved in the making of these beautiful quilts. If you enjoy craft projects, cutting, sewing or just getting together for fellowship, come out to St. Mark or contact the church office at 304-242-3466 for more information.

Our care quilts provide comfort to those in need within our congregation. Each quilt is a symbol of our support, crafted with care and prayers for the recipient.
We produce large quilts that are donated to Lutheran World Relief, an organization that distributes them to individuals and families around the globe.
The Quilt Bonanza is an annual event where we showcase our creations and raise funds for our quilting ministry. This event brings the community together to celebrate our work, share our passion for quilting, and support other charitable endeavors.
Our semi-monthly workshops provide opportunities for members to gather, learn new quilting techniques, and collaborate on projects. These workshops foster fellowship, skill-building, and a sense of community among quilters of all experience levels.
