Activities and Responsibilities

We believe in the power of a kind word and thoughtful gesture. Our Caring Cards initiative involves sending personalized cards to members of our congregation and community who are experiencing illness, loss, or other life challenges. This simple act of kindness helps to uplift spirits and remind individuals that they are loved and supported.

Each year, we organize a School Supplies Collection to ensure that local students have the essential materials they need to succeed in their education. We gather donations of notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and other supplies, which are then distributed to children in need within our community.

In partnership with the Appalachian Christmas Project, we collect personal care items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and other necessities. These items are packaged and delivered to families in the Appalachian region during the holiday season, providing them with much-needed relief and support.

Through the God’s Global Barnyard program, we raise funds to provide livestock and other resources to families in developing countries. These gifts help improve food security and economic stability for communities around the world, embodying our commitment to global outreach and compassion.

Our annual Lenten Luncheon is a cherished tradition that brings together members of the congregation for a time of fellowship and reflection during the Lenten season. This event features a shared meal and a program that encourages spiritual growth and communal bonding.

The Women of the Church ministry maintains the church’s bulletin board, ensuring it is updated with important announcements, upcoming events, and other relevant information. This visual communication tool helps keep our congregation informed and engaged with church activities.

We take pride in caring for the Chapel Garden, a serene and beautiful space for prayer and meditation. Our ministry members are responsible for planting, weeding, and maintaining the garden, creating a peaceful environment that enhances the spiritual atmosphere of our church.

Each week, we arrange and deliver altar flowers to those who are homebound, ill, or in need of a special reminder of God’s love. These floral arrangements bring joy and comfort to recipients, symbolizing the beauty and care of our faith community.
